Voting Information for the 2022 General Election

How/Where to Vote

There are three ways to vote in the 2022 General Election:

Vote In Person on Election Day: Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th and polls are open from 7am until 8pm. Because of redistricting, many precinct numbers and polling places have changed. Use Minnesota's poll finder website to find out where you vote in this election.

Vote Early In Person: Early voting opens starting on Friday, September 23rd. See locations below where you can vote during normal business hours. These locations will also be open additional hours on Saturday, November 5th (10am to 3pm), and will stay open until 5pm on Monday, November 7th.

Eagan, Burnsville, and Mendota Heights residents can vote early at their City Hall (3830 Pilot Knob Rd for Eagan, 100 Civic Center Pkwy for Burnsville, or 1101 Victoria Curve for Mendota Heights). All Dakota County residents can vote early at a service center. Click here for a full list of early voting locations.

Vote by Mail: You can click here to request an absentee ballot. Make sure to return it right away. It must be received (not just postmarked) by Election Day to count!
