2024 BPOU Convention

The Senate District 52 Republicans will be holding our convention on Saturday, April 6th at Blackhawk Middle School (1540 Deerwood Drive in Eagan).

The convention will be called to order at 9:00AM. Registration opens at 8:30AM and will close at 9:30AM. The Registration fee will be $20.00 for delegates, alternates, and adult guests. No delegate or alternate will be denied seating if unable to pay the registration fee. Anyone who makes a $75 or $150 contribution (fully refundable under Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund program) will have their registration fee waived.

Delegates and alternates elected at the 2024 precinct caucuses will be eligible to participate. Most delegates and alternates receive their calls on caucus nights (and they will be mailed to any elected in absentia).

The convention business will include:

• Endorsing candidates for the Minnesota House of Representatives
• Electing delegates and alternates to the congressional district and state conventions
• Consideration and adoption of resolutions
• Other business as may properly come before the convention

Save time on convention day! You can prepay by clicking here and skip the line. Online pre-payment will close no earlier than 36 hours before the call to order (9:00 PM on Thursday, April 4th), but you can still pay at the door after that. This page can used to pay convention fees, but can also be used to make a refundable contribution under the Political Contribution Refund program. Under this program, your contribution of up to $75 per individual (or $150 per married couple) will be fully refunded by the state. This refund can be used once per calendar year, so you are eligible if you have not used it yet in 2024. If you make such a contribution, your convention registration fee will be automatically waived.
